Here is a Review and Story of Final Fantasy II

The Story:
Baron had grown to be the most powerful nation in the world through it's fleet of airships called the (Detroit) Red Wings, under command of a little guy named Cecil. Baron had always been a peaceful nation, but then the king changed. For some reason, he sent Cecil to steal the Crystal of Water from a nearby town. The crystals themselves are supposed to hold great power, and as a set, are supposed to make a person, literally, into a god. Anyway, Cecil steals the crystal, but Cecil is a man of morals. Upon his return, he questions the king's motives. Thinking Cecil is turning traitor, he sends Cecil on a quest to deliver a mysterious package to a village called Mist. And so the game begins....

Review:
Final Fantasy was the first RPG created by squaresoft, and it recieved such high reviews that squaresoft had a real problem attempting to top it. Well, they managed, and Final Fantasy II was the result. The game presents some excellent music, characters and storyline. The graphics could use work, but that is truly the only critisism you can make about the game. The plot is well thought out, as well as the game play. Your quest will take you from your hometown, across the world in your airship, to the underground, and, eventually, to the moon. With a good assortment of secrets to find, the game is not to be beaten once and set aside, you'll find yourself beating this game many times. And enjoying each time.
